Historic accommodation
Highlands Wildflower Farm celebrates the rich and long history of the property founded in 1895 by Scottish immigrants, William Purves and his wife Agnes Robertson, who bestowed the name as part of a homage to their homeland as well as a reflection of the properties setting. For almost half a century the Robertson’s managed a 14,000 acre farm with over 10,000 sheep. At Highlands they build the original homestead in 1905 and the sandstone caretaker’s cottage which dates back to the late 19th century.
The Sandstone Caretakers Cottage and the “Red” Cottage will be available for short stay accommodation.
